Overwhelmed By The Demand, Grazie!

The Eat Out to Help Out Scheme was introduced in August to encourage people to return to restaurants in the post-lockdown period.

Well it has certainly done that! We have been overwhelmed by the interest and demand. Thank you to all who have already enjoyed Buon Apps and who have reservations during the remainder of August.

Table Availability in August

We are now fully booked on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August and are closed on Mondays. If you have tried to book a table online and found nothing, it really does mean there are no tables available. None are held back for bookings by telephone or email.

Outdoor tables (offered on a first come, first served basis) may be available. These table can not be reserved. Please do not call asking to book outdoors; we will not be able to book a table for you. If it turns cold, wet or windy and we’re full indoors it means we have nowhere dry, warm and comfortable to move you to. That’s not a great experience for you and makes it difficult for us.

Take Away and Ready Meals

The success of Eat Out to Help Out, whilst very welcome, has had a ripple effect across the rest of the business. Despite additional resources we are unable to keep up with demand for everything. That means we have to focus our attention on providing the restaurant service diners expect.

With immediate effect, and as a temporary measure during August, Take-Away food and Cook-at-Home ready-meals will not be available. Our apologies to those who have bought, enjoyed and want more. We wish we could continue to provide these, but for now, we can’t.

When the excitement of Eat Out to Help Out fades at the end of August, and we can re-focus and catch our breath, we hope to bring back Take Away and Ready Meals.

Buon Apps Shop

Although Take-Away and Ready-Meal options have been temporarily suspended, all other items from the Buon Apps shop are still available to buy online and collect from the restaurant.

Our apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment these changes cause. We hope you will understand that as a family-run business, without a big corporate organisation supporting us, sometimes we can’t do it all.
