We have two updates which impact on each other:

1 - Revised Opening Hours

With effect from Wednesday 9 June 2021 our opening hours will be:

Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday 

Open from 12 noon, with last orders at 8.30pm 

Friday &  Saturday 

Open from 12 noon, with last orders at 9.30pm

Monday & Tuesday - closed

2 - Buon Apps Breakfast

These changes mean that from 9 June we will no longer be open for breakfast.

Coming to this decision hasn’t been easy as we know it is a popular choice for many of our customers. But with the changing nature of lockdown, staff recruitment and our desire to provide the very best service it is the right decision to make.

It allows us to focus our energies on lunch, afternoon and dinner service and just as importantly give our hard working team a chance to catch their breath day to day. It is no secret that recruitment in many sectors, including the hospitality industry, is currently problematic for various reason which we won’t get in to here. We’ve been incredibly fortunate to hire and train some outstanding people in recent months, but we need more, and they’re not easy to find. Fewer staff means they have to work harder to cover the shortfall and that impacts them, and the service we provide. We would rather have shorter service hours, with a higher standard during the times we are open. 

Buon Apps breakfast has been a great success and we are incredibly grateful to all who chose to dine with/from us, during the last difficult year. When first offered it was incredibly popular. During lockdown we noticed that guests preferred to be out earlier in the day, but the relaxed lockdown rules means we’re now busier at lunchtimes and in the evenings. Indeed you may have found it tricky to get a table as we’re often fully booked, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

We’re not saying Buon Apps Breakfast has gone for good. We will review the situation in the coming months. If there is a demand and we have the means to meet it, we will consider bringing it back. Until then, we look forward to seeing you Wednesday to Sunday from 12 noon.

If you booked online it’s easy to cancel online - simply click on the link shown in your booking confirmation email. Or call us: there’s no need to be embarrassed; we know plans change. Please leave a message if we’re unable to answer the phone during busy periods.
